My name is Joseph, and I’m the founder of Simcha Development. I graduated from the University of Florida and spent over 20 years as an English teacher — shaping lessons, guiding students, and helping people find their voice. Before that, I served six years in the U.S. Army Infantry, where I learned discipline, precision, and how to win no matter the odds. Those two worlds — the discipline of a soldier and the heart of a teacher — became the foundation of everything I do.

I taught English across the world, including several years in South Korea, where I saw how language, culture, and education can bridge people and ideas. I speak Hebrew, Spanish, Korean, and English, and language has always been my greatest strength — my craft. It’s how I connect, persuade, and bring clarity to complex ideas. Over the years, I’ve studied writing for more than three decades, mastering how words move people and open doors. Eventually, I realized my classroom could be larger. I wanted to help more people — not just learn, but build. That’s when I turned to grant writing. It became both a science and a passion for me — because I win. I study what works, refine what doesn’t, and approach every proposal with the same discipline I learned in the Army and the same care I brought to the classroom. For me, writing isn’t technical — it’s personal. It’s where clarity meets conviction, and where words have the power to change lives.
